Sterling has been with AQC, Inc. located in Roseville, MN since joining the AQC team in November of 2014. He began as the Regional Sales Manager for the East/Central Region and was promoted to the position of National Sales Manager in January 2017. In his current position he is responsible for overseeing the development of the sales and training team for AQC as well as Account development regarding all Manufacturer’s reps located in the US, Canada and the Middle East. He received his undergraduate degree in Marketing from James Madison University in Harrisonburg VA and a Master’s in Business from Eastern University in St. David’s, PA.
Sterling began his career in sales working in the Management development program with Frito Lay. He then spent twenty years with the Brown and Williamson Tobacco Corporation before transitioning into the HVAC industry in 2005. He has spent the past 14 plus years in the development and sales of energy efficient duct systems designed for HVAC with the intent of improving both energy efficiency and Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) while meeting code and building requirements for improved sustainability and long-term performance. For 12 of those years he has been involved in the development and US introduction of Phenolic Ducting systems from Kingspan. Concentrations during the past 14 years have been focused on working with engineers and building owners to assist with design improvements of mechanical systems to maximize the efficiency of air transference in heating and air-conditioning as it relates to improved thermal efficiency; reduced air leakage, improved structural space and load requirements while also minimizing processes and maximizing productivity during installation.
Sterling manages the National Sales Team for AQC from the regional office in NJ where he currently resides with his wife Dee in Pitman NJ. They have four children and eleven grand Children.
